Driver slowly approaches an extended family of pigeons. I’ve experienced vehicles zoom right in front of me as I am about to cross a road. These pigeons are getting more respect than some of us humans.

The Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple is open to people from all religions and social standings. I’m told Hindu temples tend to have strict entrance rules depending on who runs it.
